فضائل الحجاب
الحجاب طاعة لله عزَّ وجلَّ
وطاعة لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
أوجب الله تعالى طاعته وطاعةَ رسولِه r فقال : {وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًا} (36) سورة الأحزاب .
وقال عز وجل : {فَلاَ وَرَبِّكَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّىَ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ يَجِدُواْ فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِّمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُواْ تَسْلِيمًا} (65) سورة النساء .
وقد أمر الله سبحانه وتعالى النساء بالحجاب , فقال عز وجل : {وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَى جُيُوبِهِنَّ } (31) سورة النــور.
وقال سبحانه : {وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَى } (33) سورة الأحزاب , وقال تبارك وتعالى : { وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعًا فَاسْأَلُوهُنَّ مِن وَرَاء حِجَابٍ ذَلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ } (53) سورة الأحزاب .
وقال تعالى : {يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاء الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ } (59) سورة الأحزاب .
وقال رسول الله r -: " المرأة عورة " [ صحيح] , يعني أنه يجب سترها
(Note: Hijab is the scarf worn by Muslim women to cover their hair)
Virtues of Hijab:
Hijab is the act of obedience to Almighty Allah (SWT)
And His Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)
Obedience to Allah and His Messenger is a must.
Allah says in the Holy Qur'an: `It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His messenger have decreed a matter that they should have an option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, has indeed strayed in a plain error.' (Sura Al-Ahzab:36).
And says: "But no, by your Lord, they can have no faith, until they make you (O Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions and accept (them) with full submission" (Sura An-nisa: 65)
It is a precept from Allah (SWT) to Muslim women to wear (Hijab).
Allah says: 'And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc) and not to show off their adornment except what must (ordinarily) appear thereof, that they should draw their veils over their Juyubihinna.'(Sura An-nur:31).
In another Sura Allah says: "And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the time of ignorance …" (Sorat Al-Ahzab : 33)
And Allah also says: `And when you ask them (the Prophet's wives) for anything you want, ask them from behind a screen, that is purer for your hearts and their hearts.' (Sura Al-Ahzab:53).
Allah says: 'O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) over their bodies (when outdoors). That is most convenient that they should be known and not molested.' (Sura Al-Ahzab:59).
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "Muslim Women are Awra (big pudendum)" Righteous Hadith
Meaning that women must be veiled
