View Full Version : Islam is the way of life not just religion
:36_13_3[1]: Islam is not the religion of Arabs
Do you know that all over the world there are 1.3 billion Muslims only 15% are Arabs
The Meaning of islam :
- Linguistic: surrender – purity – peace
- If a person is fully submission himself to almighty god alone – worshiping him purely will live in
peace in harmony in this life and the life after
So
MUSLIM = a person who submits to god
[/LEFT
]
ISSUES TO BE CONSISDERED:
- Every human being is born pre formatted to submit to god
- Human being have free will [LEFT]
- No compulsion in religion
- People are born without any inherited sin (all humans from Adam and Adam from earth )
- No supremacy : all people are equal ( piety is the standard not the racism)
(to be continued)

some scholers, you said it we cant take all what they say, Allah on judgment day would ask everyone of us on what he did in this life, he would not put all the blame on the scholers who said this, May Allah keep us on the true path inshalah, i mean accourding to islam and sunnah its Haram, no qustion in that, but you should'nt be blind and see through the darkness, and Sami yussuf deosn't do it for free, he deos it for money, that alone makes it haram, as ppl waste their money on nothing, but each person has his piont of veiw, u cant force yours on them even if it was right, but all you can do is give them the Advice that would help them inshalah see whats right from wrong..........and may Allah bless you 2........inshAllah.......salam : )

Ok, Dr. Tariq is a great man and i respect him, but in no way he can say that Music is excepted in islam, Music is considered haraam based on the Ayah from Qur'an from Surah Luqman.
Here is a fatwa on the matter:
Concerning the Hadeeths ''Whoever Listens to a Female Singer'' And ''Music Makes Hypocrisy Grow''
Question:
I read in a Hadeeth that the Prophet (sallAllaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said, "Whoever listens to a female singer, then molten lead will he poured into his ears." And another Hadeeth: "Music makes hypocrisy grow in the heart just as water makes grass grow. Are these Hadeeths authentic? And what is the ruling regarding someone who hears singing in a car or in a gathering, when he does not have the ability to turn it off?
Answer:
Listening to a voice implies that one is listening carefully, concentrating on what he is listening to. So in the case of singing, listening to it implies that one is listening carefully and concentrating on it.
As for hearing, it could be on purpose, the same as listening carefully and concentrating, in which case it is also called listening, and the same judgements apply. On the other hand, hearing could occur without it happening on purpose, without concentrating on the voice, then it is not called listening and the judgements related to listening do not apply.
Accordingly, listening to what the questioner mentioned, different types of singing, is unlawful for anyone who concentrates on it. This is the case, be it a man, a woman, in the home, or not in the home, in the car, or in gatherings, large or small. It is the same, whenever one chooses to do so, and is inclined to participate in what is unlawful according to the Shari'ah.
Allaah Almighty said:
"And of mankind is he who purchases idle talk (Lahwul-Hadeeth) to mislead men from the path of Allaah without knowledge, and takes it by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment." [Luqman 31:6]
The singing that the questioner mentioned is part of Lahwul-Hadeeth. It tempts heart, and it leads it to evil, taking it away from good, and causing people to waste their time. So because of this it falls under the general meaning of Lahwul-Hadeeth, it is the same for one singing and the one who listens to singing, all of them fall under the general category of purchasing Lahwul-Hadeeth and misleading others from the path of Allaah. So there is prohibition and a warning of a sever punishment for doing so.
Just as the prohibition of singing and listening to it is proven in the Qur'aan, so too has the Sunnah. The Prophet (sallAllaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
"There will be from my Nation a people who will deem fornication, silk (for men), alcohol, and music to be permissible; and there will be a people who will camp beside a high mountain, when a poor man passes by them and asks for a need, they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' In the morning Allaah will make the mountain fall upon them and the others (who are saved) are transformed into apes and pigs, until the Day of Judgement." (Al-Bukhari no. 5990)
Music is the use of instruments of Lahw, and part of this is singing and listening to it. So Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu `alayhi wa sallam) condemned those who seek to legalize fornication, the use of silk for men, drinking alcohol, and such entertainment instruments and listening to them. Here he accompanied music with other major sins. In the end of the Hadeeth he threatened those who do that with a punishment.
This shows that listening to music is unlawful. But a person is not sinning when he accidentally listens to music, such as a person who is walking in the street and hears music being played in stores, or in a car, as long as he does not desire to listen to it. Such a person is not sinning because he has no choice; however, he must advise and warn those who are playing the music, he must do so with wisdom and good exhortation. And should avoid as much as possible going to places where music is played, and Allaah does not place a burden on a soul greater than it can bear.
A group of scholars use authentic proofs and then follow that with narrations that have some weakness in their chains of narration, or from the view of proving the objective. There is nothing wrong in this because they mention these narrations as secondary, narrations to be reflected upon, but they depend entirely on authentic Hadeeth for proof. An example of this regarding singing and listening to it, where scholars first mention the authentic narrations and then mention narrations that are weak. Here are some examples of the weak narrations:
1) Al-Hakim At-Tirmithi related from Abu Musa Al-'Ashari that the Prophet (sallAllaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
من استمع إلى صوت غناء لم يؤذن له أن يسمع الروحانيين
(قراء أهل الجنة)
"Whoever listens to the sound of singing will not be permitted to listen to the spirits in Paradise." (Kanzu 'Ummal no. 40660, 400666 and Qurtubi no. 14/53-54)
2) Ibn 'Asakir relates from Anas, may Allaah be pleased with him, that the Prophet (sallAllaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
من استمع قينة صب في أذنيه الآنك يوم القيامة
"Whoever listens to a female singer, molten lead will be poured into his ears on the Day of Judgement." (Dha'ifu-Jami' As-Saghir Lil-Albani no. 5410 and Ad-Dha'ifah no. 4549)
3) In Thamm Al-Malahi Ibn Abi Ad-Dunya' relates from Ibn Mas'ud a saying of the Prophet:
الغناء ينبت النفاق في القلب كما ينبت الماء البقل
"Singing makes hypocrisy to grow in the heart like water makes herbs grow." (Al-Baihaqi 10/223 and Abu Dawud no. 4927)
4) Al-Bayhaqi related from Jabir, may Allaah be pleased with him, that the Prophet (sallAllaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
الغناء ينبت النفاق في القلب كما ينبت الماء الزرع
"Singing makes hypocrisy to grow in the heart like water makes plants grow." (Shua'bul-Iman no. 5100)
All of these Hadeeths are weak, but just because they are weak doesn't affect the ruling on singing and on listening to singing; both are unlawful because of other authentic proofs from the Qur'aan and the Sunnah. And with Allaah is the facilitation to do what is right.

Islaamic Nasheed
Shaykh Saalih ibn Fowzaan al-Fowzaan
http://madeenah.com/article.cfm?id=1148
Reference: Majallatut-Da’wah No: 1632. 7th Dhul-Qa’dah 1418 A.H. Corresponding to 5th March 1998
A considerable amount of discussion has taken place with regards to ‘Islaamic Nasheeds’; some have given a formal, legal opinion of it being permissible, whilst others hold them to be an alternative to music. What is your opinion with regards to the above, your eminence?
The phrase ‘Islaamic Nasheeds’ is incorrect, because it is a newly invented phrase. Hence, for this reason there are no such things [known as] ‘Islaamic Nasheeds’ in the books of the pious predecessors, and from the rulings of those who are considered and relied upon to be from amongst the people of knowledge.
Rather what is well known is that the Sufis [1] are the ones who have accommodated and incorporated these ‘Islaamic Nasheeds’ into their Deen, and they name this Deen of theirs as (السماع) ‘As Samaa’[2].
In this day and age, when different parties & groups have arisen and increased, this has resulted in all these groups & parties adopting their own fanatical zealous anthems which they have named as ‘Islaamic Nasheeds’. This labelling of ‘Islaamic Nasheeds’ has no authenticity or soundness [in our Deen]. Therefore, it is not permissible to accept these Nasheeds or to circulate and promote them amongst the people.
Allaah is the possessor of all prosperity & success.

More Hadith on music
The Narration of Ibn Maajah
There is a narration by Ibn Maajah in Kitaabul Fitan
The messenger of Allah said: "A people of my ummah will drink wine, calling it by other than its real name. Merriment will be made for them through the playing of musical instruments and the singing of lady singers. Allah will cleave the earth under them and turn others into apes and swine."
The Narrations of Ahmad Bin Hanbal
The Prophet said: "Verily, Allah prohibited wine, gambling and al-koobah; and every intoxicant is prohibited." Sufyan said, "I asked the narrator, Ali bin Badheemah, "What is al-koobah?" He answered, "It is the drum.
) Ali R.A.3 narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) prohibited the beating of drums.

Ok, but can someone make money by financial intrest payable (Riba) which is so haram and give it to the poor, its totaly Haram, and can you sale Alcahole and then spend the revenues you made on the poor and needy, hell no its haram, the samething goes here music is haram, so the money is haram 2......so in no way we can say its ok unless you give it to the poor, whats haram is haram, thats it......and Islam is all about the Quran and sunnah, you can not add music to it, this way you'll make ppl confused........Allah knows best, but believe me there is no place for music in this religion, for its the Way of the Devil.......InshAlah i made my piont.......salam
THANKS BROTHERS FOR YOUR PARTICIPATING
YOUR VIEWS ABOUT MUSIC : whether its allowed or not
but according to my view
which may be right or wrong
that in this world of media where many channels establish for spreading the culture of videoclips and music with its bad image
we cannt face it by telling people to stop listening to music completely
but we face by alternatives first such as :

step by step you can reach your goal as prophet mohammed do he didnot forbidden the drunk in one time but gradually

ِAlsalamu3alikoum warahmatuAllah
Yah ur probely right, but come to think bout it, you cant treat murder of innocent ppl by the murder of innocent ppl, to put it breifly Islam deosn't Acceapt suicid bombing, though it asks every cappable man for jihad, its like if jews bombed ur house killing ur wife and children you cant go and kill there women and children, thats not in islam, some say its a diffreant time from that of the prophet p.b.u.h, no its not jihad asks u to kill the enemy soldiers fight and tear them limb from limb like an Animal, but while in jihad a Muslim should not harm a child, a women, an old person or even cut a tree, are religion is perfect, its clear , and its not flexiable it deosnt change with time, for Allah in the quran says who ever changes or adds anything to the religion is going to burn in hell, you see what i mean, Nasheed is made up by sufis its not the teachings of the prophet peace & blessings be upon him.........you know mashary rashid Alafaseey thats tahalel and its diffreant from nasheed now thats acceapted but the way sami and the other represent it now thats equal to singing and all that is nothing but the easy way for the destortion of this religion, if a muslim llistens to sami, then step by step he'll go into other types of music until he goes completly of the path, may Allah keep us on the right path Ameen........this is real, its a path of shaytan, a path of the devil, you dont open a path for the devil, u close it............For example when the prophat p.b.u.h was asked by his companions on what to do when the Dajjal anti - christ appears he said nothing you should run as far as u can, who ever u are you can not face him, it is impossible u'll end up on his path its like a powerful magic, and thats the way it is.............we shouldn't be stupid and blind, we should protect are deen with are lives, Allah asks us for jihad not sing'n no music, Allah says in the Quran that 1 hour in jihad is better than 60 years of 3ebadah and praying, Ya3ni to Allah one of the mujahiden is better than all the scholers like Dr.tariq and all the 3ebad like me and u........So who should we listen to, not to forget that the first to go to hell are the scholers, couse they are judged on how they use their knowledge...........beleive me protect this deen and we dont need no music, AllhamduliAllah ppl are coming into islam in huge numbers with out no music
SALMOMO ALIKKOM
THANKS YOU
BUT I D LIKE TO ASK YOU VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION
please tell me a solution of how to convenice people who adapt the western music and the bad video clips to turn their style to elmashary or others
and the steps to do
you know we have to make dawaaa
waiting for your reply

Yah its true, western ppl have a life style that is base't on music, i mean music controls their lives, they sleep on music, n AstagfiruAllah even if they wanna kill someone they listen to a certain type of music..........May Allah keep us away from that, i dont have a problem with sami's stuff unless it stays in the west, and deosn't interfer with are religion, you see christians dont pray they go dance to music and play every sunday church, and thats not religion, that can not happen to islam, next thing u know ppl play'n sami's music on friday prayer step by step we lose are deen.............So at the end we dont need music in islam, AlhmduliAllah AlhamduliAllah are brothers.do'n a great job in the states, even in europ, they have special programs on educating ppl about islam, like shaik Yussuf estes barak Allah fih he's do'n a great job, i mean AllahmduliAllah close to 1000 ppl in the states alone convert to islam everyday, i tell u we dont need music, though at a piont im not against sami yussuf but unless his music stay in the west and deos not interfer with are religion, Muslims should not listen to music, couse we have are deen AlhamduliAllah, we dont need music, instead of music we can start a movement of educating ppl bout islam in malls, parks, schools and universitys everywhere, giving out free books, start learn bout islam centers, we can spread the ward without music.......May Allah keep us on his true path.......InshAllah and i know its a long hard road, but since when easy is better.........jazakum Allah
Thank brother for your replying
concentrating on the issue of music and video clips --- free books nowdays are not enough to convenice people to stop listening to music --- i think they need to accept the alternatives of islamic songs and music ---
they want different taste and i think by the growth of the community --
people will return by their free will to the basic and pillars of islam
the issue of music we cannot say its completlely forbidden but the islamic scientists have different views about it
and we cannot say that your view is right and the other is wrong and vice verse
